Then join our growing family of Friends and support our ongoing mission to champion choral excellence and commission new and exciting LGBTQ+ music.

Our vision is a space where any LGBTQ+ person or ally can celebrate and create music with meaning - as a member, artist or supporter. Together we'll create a bold new canon of queer choral work, putting queer stories front and centre - challenging perceptions, raising questions and celebrating the lived LGBTQ+ experience in the 21st century. A repertoire forged in Greater Manchester, yet with international reach.

What’s in it for you?

 

We deeply appreciate all friends of The Sunday Boys.We have different levels of support, and here is what you get in return.

Bronze - £10/month

 

We will:

 

• Provide you with two complimentary tickets to our three main performances each year, with access to the best seats in the house

• Acknowledge your kind support in concert programmes as well as on our website and via shout-outs on our social media

• provide you with advance notice of our exciting plans and upcoming performances via our exclusive Friends email

• Send you a Christmas card from the choir each year, where a member will tell you about the huge difference you've made to us

Silver - £25/month

 

As well as bronze benefits, we will:

 

• Invite you to our annual Friends of The Sunday Boys afternoon tea as a thank you for your support, including a performance from the choir

• Invite you to drinks receptions for a complimentary glass of fizz and a chat with The Sunday Boys
• Invite you to suggest songs that might be arranged and performed by The Sunday Boys for future performances

Gold - £50/month

 

As well as bronze & silver benefits, we will:

 

• Provide you with a finished recorded copy of each of our new commissions as thanks for helping us be able to document our new queer choral cannon 

• Introduce you to the artists we've been working with on each project and provide you with a signed copy of the score they've worked on for you to keep as a token of our appreciation

• Acknowledge your support on the scores of the compositions that your support has helped to create

How will my contribution help?

 

By making a donation you'll help support The Sunday Boys in so many ways, including:

​

• Helping the choir to continue to grow, to present big and ambitious performances and reach new audiences

• Supporting our 80+ membership to find and develop their voices in a safe and nurturing environment

• Subsidising membership fees for those singers who are unable to afford full subscriptions to the choir

• Contributing to our essential costs such as rehearsal space, sheet music, accompanists recording equipment and musical direction

• Allowing us to commission new works by LGBTQ+ artists, and grow a brilliant body of new queer choral music
